Based in the magical city of Paris, we’ll spend 5 nights at the elegant Hotel Pont Royal, a very Parisian Left Bank address, open since 1923 and at the heart of Saint Germain des Prés. An exploration of the City’s cultural charm and its pre-eminent wine bars, with visits and wine tastings with our local guide and wine expert. Hi-lights include a private walking tour of the Left Bank, exploring the city of Reim, the area of Vouvray and Amboise and a half day cooking class with food expert and cookbook author Susan Hermann Loomis. Gourmet Tour of Piedmont

Piedmont, home to the famous white truffle, is most famous for its boutique wines and gastronomy. Travelers from all over the world come for the outstanding food, fine wines, castles and romantic vineyard-covered hills. We'll spend 5 nights at the Hotel Castello di Sinio, an artfully restored Castle in the Barolo vineyards. Hi-lights will include a private tour of the ancient city of Turin, a private cooking class, and participation in a 'real' truffle hunt with a local Trifolau (truffle hunter). Classic Gourmet Wine Tour of Provence (The Rhone)
October 26 - October 31, 2014
As our Burgundy guests have come to expect, another first-class hotel and more sumptuous gourmet restaurants await us in the UNESCO heritage city of Avignon. The Rhône Valley's rich history, its diverse geography and various grape varieties all contribute to making Côtes du Rhône wines so unique. We'll be joined by Laurence Minard-Amalou a French Government licensed guide with an art history degree from the Ecole du Louvre, Paris. We'll enjoy five wonderful nights at the magnificent Hotel d'Europe from which guests will once again have time to explore the magnificent historic centre.
